I e-mailed John for the first time a couple of days ago. I just wanted to thank him because I listened to a lot of FFF for catharsis when two of my classmates died a few years ago and it was the anniversary recently. Just got this reply today.

Brightened my day. 8-) I know they're really busy but it's fresh to actually hear back from a major label artist, or to know that they took the time to read what you wrote. (Not to mention he likes my favourite band and gets to hang out with the guitarist, although that is making me a little jealous now. :P )
